This painting stood out because it is beautiful - then I read your note, and I'm so sorry for your loss. I have a couple of stanzas from In Memoriam in one of my favourite anthologies.

I was painting this and I lost two friends in the space of 2 weeks and so I named the painting for them. I also like the poem of the same name by Tennyson. I read it again recently. Acrylic on A3 paper.
